The Olivet Assembly Oceania is an association of Bible-centered churches and para-churches in Oceania, coordinating local missions in and across countries in Oceania and sending out Olivet Assembly missionaries to many countries around the world.

The assembly first began in 2000 as a loose association of churches planted by alumni of Olivet Theological College and Seminary. The network’s development culminated in the inauguration of Olivet Assembly of Oceania in 2015 as members of the World Olivet Assembly.

Olivet Assembly’s vision is inspired by God’s word, seeking to reach the world for Jesus Christ by proclaiming the Good News:

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16

OA’s vision is guided by following Jesus’ Great Commission for believers:

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” – Matthew 28:18-20

OA’s vision is informed by the example of faithful followers of Christ to proclaim God’s Kingdom:

“… He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ-with all boldness and without hindrance!” – Acts:28:31

OA seeks to realize Jesus’ prayer that believers may unite so that the world may believe:

“My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. – John 17:20-21

• Administer, govern and supervise Olivet Assembly churches
• Educate by developing curriculum to teach theological and missiological principles
• Create community outreach programs which develop the unity and health of the communities served by Olivet Assembly churches
• Cooperate with organizations such as mission groups, youth groups, and various ministries
• Conduct general charitable services and events to help the needy in the community with the genuine love demonstrated through Jesus, regardless of their acceptance of religious beliefs
