Fiji Immanuel Community Church Christmas Service Welcomes Four Newcomers from Kiribati

On December 25, Immanuel Community Church in Suva held a heartfelt Christmas service that welcomed four newcomers from Kiribati, marking a special moment of fellowship and worship.

The preacher delivered a powerful sermon based on Romans 1 and Philippians 2:5-8, emphasizing God’s profound love for humanity. She explained that humanity, ensnared by sin, is unable to escape its consequences, which lead to eternal separation from God. However, through Jesus Christ’s coming into the world, salvation and redemption are made possible.

The four newcomers , who live near the church, shared how they typically celebrated Christmas with their church community in Kiribati. In Fiji, however, they had not found similar opportunities for fellowship. They expressed joy and gratitude for being able to worship and commemorate the birth of Jesus alongside the Emmanuel Church congregation.

During the service, each newcomer shared the grace they received through the message and the experience of worship. The preacher invited them to continue studying the Bible together, fostering ongoing spiritual growth and connection.

The Christmas service was a testament to God’s unifying love, bringing people together to celebrate His gift of salvation. May His light continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who gathered.
