On September 23, 2024, a local Tongan sister, together with two missionaries, visited the University of the South Pacific (USP) Tonga Region campus for a productive meeting with the campus director. The primary goal of this visit was to discuss the possibility of launching a mass evangelism initiative within the university.
During the meeting, the missionaries introduced themselves and shared their vision for the Tongan mission, which includes establishing a student club to provide spiritual support, organizing Bible study sessions, and offering training for Bible teachers. The director responded positively to the mission’s objectives, expressing interest in the initiative while also raising some constructive advice. A local Tongan church member is advised by director to present to the student at an event coordinated by university staff.
